My big guy Gunn is so fussy, he loves his raw chunks but has never been keen on minces but he loves this, both varieties disappear pretty quickly

Dogs love it, great for days when they are having extra bone, love the fact it does not come with loads of packaging. downside - the blocks are very irregular in size making it difficult to judge weights accurately.

Response:

Unfortunately, as stated on our website, our blocks are hand cut and therefore vary in size.

Good product but why are the blocks different sizes?
Sunday, 2 December 2018  |

I needed a boneless duck and turkey mince and happy with the product. It is more of a paste than a mince which is great for feeding in kongs. I donít know why the blocks arenít all the same weight. When I bought 5kg I expected there to be 10 blocks of 500g each which is easier to manage but these are 12 blocks and they vary quite widely in weight from 290g to 400g. Still all gets eaten!

Response:

Sorry that you were unhappy with the block sizes, we do clearly state on our website that the blocks are hand cut and therefore vary in size and weight.
The paste texture is a result of both products being boneless.

Good quality food at a value price. We bring the bone % down when we add our own offal and other protein such as fish, lamb or beef

Pure Green Beef Tripe

Green Tripe
Our raw beef tripe is just that and nothing else.
We take fresh whole English beef tripes and then mince, pack and freeze them, to keep our mince as pure and unprocessed as possible.
Green tripe is a very nutritious food for dogs of all ages.

Raw green tripe offers beneficial bacteria and enzymes. It has a desirable calcium:phosphorus ratio of 1:1. Green tripe’s pH is acidic, the protein is 16.2%, and the fat is 12.1%. It also has the correct proportions of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.

Protein     16.2 g/100g
Fat         12.1 g/100g
Energy kcal  174 kcal/100g

One of the best constituents of raw green tripe is lactobacillus acidophilus. This is one of the intestinal bacteria that keep unwanted bacteria such as e-coli, salmonella and listeria from overpopulating and causing health problems.
A balance of microflora in the gut is extremely important to maintaining good health.
These probiotics help keep the animal’s immune system in top shape.

Digestive enzymes. The enzymes that help the ruminant digest its meal will give the pet the same benefit. Dogs and cats do not naturally produce amylase, so the nutrients present in vegetative matter are not readily available to them. Raw green tripe contains these digestive enzymes.

It contains the following vitamins and minerals:
Vitamin E, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folate, Vitamin B12, Pantothenic, Acid, Choline, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Zinc, Copper
Manganese, Selenium
