Easy purchase, good product.

Quick and easy to buy, good delivery by dpd. This tripe is good at sorting my gsds delicate stomach into something I can pick up. My 35kg pooch, has 1/2 a block a day, split into 2 meals, this also helps disguise the chicken taste in canned meat and dry biscuits, which she would rather leave.
My only small niggle is the smell, 24 blocks in one bag, even frozen is rough. I know to limit packaging this is the eco way to go, but I never thought Id have to train my dog not to jump in the freezer when I open the bag for a new block.
Will be ordering more and maybe a separate freezer just for her.

My dog isn't keenSo far,
Tuesday, 23 July 2019  |

So far my dog has been very unsure, she was sick last night but this could be the weather. I hop that she can start to like it. If you have any tips on feeding the tripe, I would be glad of them. I started her on this because she had a penchant for other dogs faeces. She has always had processed dog food. She is a rescue dog but I have owned her for eleven months.

Response:

Tripe is quite rich and not the best one to start on if your dog has never been raw fed before. I would suggest buying some chicken mince with bone and then mixing it with the tripe to dilute the tripe. We always suggest starting with the chicken mince and bone and then introducting a complete after about 3 days.

For our Raw Pack
Saturday, 29 June 2019  |

We have 4 Dalmatians and they cant eat certain raw food due to a breed issue with not processing purines. Tripe is a great and cheap alternative. They love it.

Response:

The tripe comes to us from one location but is collected from all over the country. It can vary greatly in smell, colour and texture, depending on what the cows have been fed on. The term 'green tripe' means that it comes from grass fed cows, but the quality and type of grass will vary across the country and therefore the tripe will vary between batches. We sell it from dark green, brown, grey and almost white but we have no control of how this comes into us. It could be that one batch has been collected from one part of the country where the grass is lush and green and therefore the tripe is a darker colour, and another batch may be from a completely different type with harsh coastal grass for example. Most dogs will eat it any way it comes but the odd few are a bit fussier. You could try mixing it with some chicken mince or another product and usually we find that solves the problem. It is still very nutritious whichever way it comes and should not be disregarded.

Very happy so far
Sunday, 9 June 2019  |

After researching raw feeding for ages, I decided to go for it, then it was a matter of which raw supplier to choose from as there does seem to be many to choose from.
I went with your company because I enjoyed reading your website, you were competitively priced and delivery seemed really quick.
Well you have scored 5 stars as you provided an excellent service with good meaty trippin convenient prechopped blocks. The bonus is my dogs love it and seem to be, even in middle age, improving immensely in condition ,health and happiness.
Thank you

Love the texture of the tripe. The dogs love it and their poos are great on it. I had a Dandie Dinmont with consent diarrhoea, numerous trips to the vets this really helped to clear her up!!

Pure Green Beef Tripe

Green Tripe
Our raw beef tripe is just that and nothing else.
We take fresh whole English beef tripes and then mince, pack and freeze them, to keep our mince as pure and unprocessed as possible.
Green tripe is a very nutritious food for dogs of all ages.

Raw green tripe offers beneficial bacteria and enzymes. It has a desirable calcium:phosphorus ratio of 1:1. Green tripe’s pH is acidic, the protein is 16.2%, and the fat is 12.1%. It also has the correct proportions of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.

Protein     16.2 g/100g
Fat         12.1 g/100g
Energy kcal  174 kcal/100g

One of the best constituents of raw green tripe is lactobacillus acidophilus. This is one of the intestinal bacteria that keep unwanted bacteria such as e-coli, salmonella and listeria from overpopulating and causing health problems.
A balance of microflora in the gut is extremely important to maintaining good health.
These probiotics help keep the animal’s immune system in top shape.

Digestive enzymes. The enzymes that help the ruminant digest its meal will give the pet the same benefit. Dogs and cats do not naturally produce amylase, so the nutrients present in vegetative matter are not readily available to them. Raw green tripe contains these digestive enzymes.

It contains the following vitamins and minerals:
Vitamin E, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folate, Vitamin B12, Pantothenic, Acid, Choline, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Zinc, Copper
Manganese, Selenium
