Pumpkin Seeds Fight Worms

Raw, organic pumpkin seeds have been used to treat a variety of parasitic and other ailments since the colonists first came to the New World and discovered the benefits of this Native American crop.

The flesh and seeds of the pumpkin were used by the Native American tribes to:

  • heal wounds
  • cure kidney ailments and urinary problems
  • as a parasitic treatment on humans.

In recent times, herbalists have discovered that the seeds of the pumpkin also work as an effective deworming agent against tapeworms and other intestinal parasites in dogs and humans.

Pumpkin seeds contain the amino acid called cucurbitin, which paralyzes and eliminates the worms from the digestive tract. Pumpkin seeds have other health benefits too – they are loaded with protein, amino acids, fiber, iron, copper, phosphorus and magnesium, calcium, zinc, potassium, folic acid and niacin; all important nutrients to your pet’s overall good health.

Feeding Directions

Pumpkin seeds can be fed whole as a treat for your dog. Don’t feed him the salted seeds from the grocery store; find some raw, organic seeds instead. If your dog doesn’t enjoy them as a treat, you can grind them in a coffee grinder or Magic Bullet and add them to his meals. Give him a quarter teaspoon per ten pounds of body weight once or twice a day until he’s rid of the parasites.

Really settled my dogs stomach whether this was down to worms or something else but her poo is now back to normal for a dog fed raw food after a couple of days treatment with the pumpkin seeds.

Excellent product

The driver was extremely polite and helpful, as they always are. We have used the minced chicken-with-bone and minced tripe for the past five years, and our great danes certainly do "love it".

Perfect for puppy weaning

More of a paste, than mince, which makes it perfect when weaning pups. Small, conveniently - sized blocks which defrost quickly.

Handy for travel

I bought this box as I camp and travel with the dogs to visit friends, etc. At a couple of quid, where else could you get a reusable box that keeps the dog food, (and mine), cold. With a little protection to stop it freezing, I even put my milk in there! Handy for ‘click and collect’ shopping, buying ice cream and collecting the odd takeaway also!

Pure Green Beef Tripe

Green Tripe
Our raw beef tripe is just that and nothing else.
We take fresh whole English beef tripes and then mince, pack and freeze them, to keep our mince as pure and unprocessed as possible.
Green tripe is a very nutritious food for dogs of all ages.

Raw green tripe offers beneficial bacteria and enzymes. It has a desirable calcium:phosphorus ratio of 1:1. Green tripe’s pH is acidic, the protein is 16.2%, and the fat is 12.1%. It also has the correct proportions of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.

Protein     16.2 g/100g
Fat         12.1 g/100g
Energy kcal  174 kcal/100g

One of the best constituents of raw green tripe is lactobacillus acidophilus. This is one of the intestinal bacteria that keep unwanted bacteria such as e-coli, salmonella and listeria from overpopulating and causing health problems.
A balance of microflora in the gut is extremely important to maintaining good health.
These probiotics help keep the animal’s immune system in top shape.

Digestive enzymes. The enzymes that help the ruminant digest its meal will give the pet the same benefit. Dogs and cats do not naturally produce amylase, so the nutrients present in vegetative matter are not readily available to them. Raw green tripe contains these digestive enzymes.

It contains the following vitamins and minerals:
Vitamin E, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folate, Vitamin B12, Pantothenic, Acid, Choline, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Zinc, Copper
Manganese, Selenium
